Great quality and finish, well built product. Had a nasty spill that caused the crash bars to bend and press against the body of the bike, the mounting bracket that bolts into the engine block bent and wrapped itself around the frame. Contacted company and owner shifted blame and told me I had not torqued the upper bar clamps to spec. After a few more exchanges he offered to TRY and get me free shipping if I decide to order again, from a company that already offered free shipping. Customer service needs some work.

Put complete crash bars and luggage racks on my 2020 Adrican Twin EC DCT. Fit is perfect and was able to install everything in a couple hours. Have since put about 12k miles on the bike and everything has worked flawlessly. Crash bars have save the bike a few times and were definitely were every dime!

I bought the 701 luggage rack and it was excellent.Properly thought about: Max room for ankles, braced well and manufactured to an excellent level.I had one of the original racks from the States three years ago but was less than half the quality of Outback Motortek.Mostly here to say thanks to them for making a good product, please keep it up!Cheers.

I've been waiting patiently for may upgrades to my new crf300l rally from different companies
one of them being upper crash bars from Outback MT but like everything else there have been some long delays waiting for them to arrive. through out the last 5 weeks I have been able to communicate with Mark,without delays Mark has always responded to my inquiries about my order with an honest answer approach. good or bad communication is the key to keeping and growing a client base.
unfortunately these are practice's not used by most companies these days, I totally have respect for Marks ethics.. I will look forward to doing bussiness again with him and I will spread the word that your company has a great appreciation for its customers!

Honda CB500x Bj2021Obere und untere SturzbügelSieht gut aus und fühlt sich für mich als „Anfänger“ qualitativ hochwertig an.Der Sturm hat mein bike umgepfegt. Die Bügel haben ihren Zweck erfüllt. Tank, Kupplungsfach, Motor bzw. der gesamte Corpus des Motorrads scheinen völlig unberührt und haben keinen Kratzer abbekommen. Es sind andere Dinger betroffen, welche jedoch nichts mit den Bügeln zu tun haben.Das was mich störte, was jedoch durch eine Mail Anfrage und SMS relativ schnell geklärt wurde , ist dass teilweise weiterhin die OEM Schrauben verwendet werden, was mich etwas verunsichert hat. Für mein Gewissen hätte ich mir etwas verlängerte Schrauben gewünscht um den fehlenden Platz durch die Bügel auszugleichen.Hier wurde mir sehr schnell durch Outback Motortek Deutschland aber auch direkt aus Kanada geholfen bzw. Als Laie wurde ich aufgeklärt.Eine Anleitung habe ich nicht bekommen jedoch wird alles im online Video ausführlich erklärt.Für beides würde ich aber keinen Stern abziehen: Ich betrachte es als mein Empfinden.Also der Service und die Kommunikation waren top. Die Qualität ist super und hat sich direkt beweisen können. Und sieht geil aus 😉

I live in Argentina, I bought the crash bars for the Tiger 800 and they sent me the ones for the GS 750 by mistake. I spoke to Lorry and they sent me the correct ones immediately. Very cordial attention and they were always willing to help. Just a detail, one of the defenses had a bad hole but then everything was perfect

Great company with great, stout equipment. I purchased full crash bar system for my Africa Twin and it help up well on my BDR trip. I just recently purchased bars and skid plate for my Honda 300 L Rally and am looking forward to getting those put on. I highly recommend their equipment. My only issue I have is sometimes I have trouble contacting them when necessary but overall great experience.

Quick update. With help of the owner, I was able to successfully install new panner racks, crash bars, and skid plate. I had a little trouble with the installation videos but Outback Motortek responded quickly and was very friendly.
I am very impressed by the quality of the products and how they did great job including everything I needed for the installation.

I have installed and used Outback Motortek products on two motorcycles: a Yamaha Super Ténéré and a KTM 1090 Adventure R. I have pannier racks on both bikes, and upper crash bars on the KTM. The installation was always spot-on with no weird fitment issues at all. I have laid down the KTM twice, once on each side, once while stopped, and once at about 12mph, with no scratches or dings.at all on the bike or the crash bars.

I bought these racks for my '20 KTM Super Adventure S to mount my soft sided panniers. They are sturdy, ruggedly built and look great. I have not crash tested them as of yet, but I have no doubt they'll hold up.

Absolutely fantastic product! I hit a dog at 65 mph and the guards did their job. Saved my motor and took the blow of sliding on asphalt for 30 + yards. I recommend these products to anyone that rides hard off road on big bikes and wants their bike to be protected from hard hits.

I bought my 2018 Africa Twin Adventure Sports with the full crash bars and skid plate already installed. I'm impressed with how this setup is light but very strong! I added the Outback Motortek center stand and have been equally impressed. The install was easy and it fits as if it was part of the original equipment from Honda. Outback Motortek makes quality products!

I’ve purchased 2 sets of pannier racks, the 2nd were the X-frame for use with Kriega luggage. Welds, powder coat and included fasteners are all high quality and the Kriega stuff went right on with no need for extra strapping or anything. Very happy and hope to upgrade my GSA to Outback Motortek’s protection bars soon!

If you are looking for protection for your motorcycle there is no better choice. Amazingly build, with colour options, and in my case,fully tested and trusted.
I also recommend the panniers rack system with the x-frame where to mount a toolbox or a rotopax system, so you can use mount your panniers and bring everything you need for a big trip.

Ich habe mir bei Outback Motortek einen Sturzbügel für meine KTM 690 Enduro R 2016 bestellt und bin sehr zufrieden. Nicht nur das der Bügel wundervoll an der KTM aussieht und sie nicht unnötig breit wirken lässt, sondern der Service ist auch einmalig gut. Auf Fragen wird sogar am Wochenende innerhalb von kurzer Zeit geantwortet. Sehr tolle Einstellung sage ich nur. Macht weiter so!

Compré el combo de protección para la Africa Twin 1100.Estoy encantado con el producto, aporta robustez a la moto y estéticamente queda guapísimo, como dicen en las instrucciones hay que doblar el cubrecarter original, es la única pega que pongo, porque es una pena forzar una pieza original, quizá cambiando un poco la curva de la barra izquierda inferior esto no haría falta, pero por lo demás un 10.Y el servicio de atención al cliente, mejor imposible, comprado en twintrail, responden cualquier duda muy rápido, unos cracks!

In January 2021, I made two orders (#20008 and #20009) for my BMW F850GS (2021 model): pannier Racks and protection Combo (lower/upper protection bars and skid plate). Ordering process was very smooth, the order was delivered on time.I would like thank the entire Outback Motortek Team and Lorry Gombos in particular! In addition to producing top quality products, Lorry and his team have been very responsive and supporting.1. Initially I made two separate orders (on the same day). I then reached out to Outback Motortek Team asking them to pack both orders in a single shipment. They immediately confirmed it.2. Once I received the shipment, it turned out that the lower part of the crash bar was impossible to install on my 2021 model due to the fact that exhaust engine system has been modified (namely, new position of oxygen sensor in the models 2021 made the installation impossible). After some e-mail changes, Lorry sent me free of charge (not even a shipping cost) a replacement part (the lower left side crash bar which will worked well with the Euro 5 oxygen sensor). And this is despite the fact that it was my mistake when ordering (when I placed the order it was clearly marked the 2018-2020 compatibility only).Thank you, Lorry and thank you Outback Motortek for your super client oriented approach and for making great products!I definitely recommend Outback Motortek!

Build crash bars and bash plates that actually work, and take care of the customers that have you products. When you are products do not perform as advertised and break on very small tip over you should offer to replace or even offer a discount, but telling them to go pound sand is maybe not the best option.

Mas rápidos que Amazon, tan rápidos que no se fijaron que corregí la dirección de entrega :)).Sobre las barras, como el video que muestran, se nota que quien las ha diseñado lo ha hecho con empeño y calidad. Buenos acabados y para mi de las mejores del mercado por la idea de donde se anclan al chasis y motor.Se montan (sin experiencia) en lo que te tomas una cerveza.Solo le veo una mejora, faltan arandelas de apriete en los tornillos, las cabezas de tornillos contra metal, pueden llegar a gripar, por ello siempre se ponen arandelas, mas base de apriete , no quiere decir mas apriete del necesario.

I have to leave a guarded response/review for these. I bought a full set of Tenere 700 crash bars, and those were delivered very quickly and seem to be of a decent quality; I'm prepared to trade a little more weight for functionality. HOWEVER: the installation video, which I watched a few times (and for reference I'm a qualified mechanical engineer) simply don't match the items I received. There are a number of differences, most notably in the clamps I received, which not only don't match the video (they are all the same size), but are also completely different. They have a cast, but not immediately obvious, retainer for the nut side, which is fine on the one hand but also flies in the face of the instruction video which says you can fit the nut and bolt whichever way round you want to. Lastly, I was missing a number of washers, but also had several other bolts and washers in different sizes. These were in the sealed bags. Agree with other comments that the nuts and bolts do not seem to be very high quality. I'll probably replace them as I'm far from sure that they'll be easy to remove if necessary. One more point: it's not possible to get a socket and then an extension/torque wrench onto the two main engine bolts after the bars are in place and I'm not quite sure how you are supposed to tighten to the correct torque with a ring or OE spanner! I could to an extent cope with all of the above, although it's very disappointing at this price point, but what has really prompted me to leave this review is that I called to speak to someone about it, left a voicemail as nobody answered, and my call was never returned. To balance that, I'll note that this was between Xmas and New Year, but still I would have expected a response at some point, even after NY. Customer Service distinctly lacking. EDIT April 2021: I have just been told that this post was not publicly visible so I have attempted to alter that. I don't know why a review would not have been visible when posted.

Perfect fit and quick installation on my BMW F750GS. Just followed the video. Great customer service. I had a question late at night planning the installation, posted to the web site and had an answer from the owner the next morning. Also posted the same question on a chat with US distributor and they responded next morning. I got lucky on delivery, 10 days instead of 6 weeks as posted. These bars are really sturdy. Tipped over on concrete. They fully supported the bike and not a scratch on them.

Mix up got me the wrong color but they overnighted the correct crash bars. Very nice design. Had to bend 1 tab a small amount to make it fit but overall very impressed. I am confident in these bars to protect my new tenere 700 with all the stupidity i have planned.

Ordered crash bars and a skid plate combo over a month and a half ago for my T7. Website said items were in stock. I waited 3 weeks before trying to contact customer service (practically impossible, never got to speak with anyone over the phone). Finally got an email saying parts were out of stock and it would be at least 2 more weeks. Waited 2 more weeks, no updates. Sent an email asking when parts would arrive and if they were still weeks out, I wanted a refund. Got a refund the next day with no explanation as to when parts would be in, just a note saying “customer couldn’t wait for parts”. Terrible, terrible, terrible customer service! Just ordered some Tourtech crash bars and they’re already on their way. Never again OM!

Fit and finish are very lacking. they may be tough but 6 hours to install crash bars is ridiculous and I'm not some paper jockey. I have never had a vehicle in the shop or paid someone to do my wrenching.

Después de adquirir set completo de protección para África twin < barras y cubrecarter>, más de 800 euros aún sigo sin recibir el cubrecarter.....llevo dos meses esperando cuando el tiempo estimado eran 10 días, una falta de profesionalismo y responsabilidad ante el cliente,La rubustez que publicitan en la web no corresponde con la realidad, en la primera caída de la moto las barras inferiores se han doblado y abollado, muy mala calidad.

Después de adquirir set completo de protección barras y cubrecarter para África twin, sigo esperando recibir el cubrecarter después de casi dos meses cuando el tiempo estimado de envío era de 10 días, servicio lamentablemente.
En la web dicen la robustez de las barras,en una simple caída se han doblado y abollado las barras, una auténtica basura.

Nice rack. Easy to fix on the bike.But: the left side is between 1 and 2 cm lower than the right side (it's particulary visible when panniers are on the bike). I had to grind the front bar otherwise the alu pannier couldn't fit really good (i would not recommend those racks for alu panniers)

El montaje de las defensas ha sido sencillo y rápido. Sólo he tenido que seguir el vídeo que tienen disponible en Youtube, solo hay que tener un poco de maña y paciencia. La calidad de las defensas es insuperable, tubos de buen diámetro y muy buenas terminaciones, tienen pinta de aguantar de todo y a la Africa twin 1100 le sientan como un guante.

Ordered a set of crash bars and was very disappointed. The arrived damaged, bolt holes didn't line up and hardware was missing. To the companies credit they did offer a refund on the product but only after questioning my integrity and refusing to admit any fault. They also told me that I should expect to have to make modifications to the product for install. Not when it's custom for a bike and cost me $400! Had to take a metal file and a dead blow hammer to them before having them refinished. I like the bars but not for all that effort. Seems they have a QC issue as others have reported. They also delete negative feedback on their website so be aware of that.

I looked at several crash bar options for my 2018 Tiger 800. The Outback Motortek bars are the strongest primarily because of the heavy gauge of the materials and the way they integrate into the bike frame. Would recommend them.

Excellent, quick service. I had questions and was quickly answered by the owner of the company. Fit was good. I would have preferred to have had detailed written installation instructions come with the product but I guess I am old school. The video was helpful. I would purchase again without any hesitation so I guess that is the best recommendation I could personally give. The white bag mounts look great on my 2018 Adventure Sport Africa Twin in red, white and blue.

I purchased the standard pannier racks for my 2019 BMW R1250GS after extensive research. At first I was just going to order the BMW ones, however they were just too expensive (almost $900) to justify. I am more than happy with the quality of the Outback Motortek ones, and they look amazing on the bike. The installation video was really helpful, I just followed along with it playing on my iPad and had no issues with the install. I will be ordering the Mosko Moto bags next, and I was happy to see that Outback Motortek is now the official preferred rack for them...very cool! I highly recommend.

Lorry is a pleasure to deal with. The quality of the work is high (design/welds/finish) The reason I give only 3 stars is that I purchased a X Frame Panniers for CRF250RALLY which should be compatible with Kriega OS32 directly without adaptors (you pay around 20-25% extra for this) and they didnt fit. The opening on the tabs was not big enough and the distance between the 2 tab openings is a bit too narrow compared to the Kriega bags. Lorry assured the width is ok to work with and offered me to send a replacement because of tab opening. At this point I didnt want to risk getting a second set and not like it coz of the width between the tabs so I just returned them. It is a pity. The rack is the most expensive on the market for this bike especially without a top rack. The 2nd most expensive rack on the market comes with a top rack and costs less. You would expect it to be spot on for the money. I m still a fan of outback motortek from what I see online with what they are doing though from my personal experience am a bit bitter now.

After completing quite an exstensive amount of research on crash bars, skid plates, and engine protectors for my 2018 Honda Africa Twin standard model I finally decided on Outback Motortek. I ordered the set of engine guard, crash bar, skip plate combo that was at a discounted package rate. I received the package within about a week or so. I watched the install video on YouTube, read the included instructions, then started the installation. It was fairly simple, but some of the required wrenches didn’t match up with the bolts supplied. I got worried at first but after contacting Mark at OM in Virginia he said that sometimes they change bolts and nuts without updating the paper instructions( too much wasted paper). Anyway, I completed the install, loved the look, feel, and sturdiness of the whole kit. I’ve ridden about 1000 miles so far and haven’t had to tighten it or adjust anything. Very happy with the customer service, the idea of small Business, and the construction and fit of the product. I’m a true fan now, and loyal customer.

Sehr schnelle Lieferung und relativ schnelle Montage der Schutzbügel. Auf einer Seite gab es leichte Spannungen aufgrund des Verzuges durch das Schweißen. War durch lockeres Vormontieren aller Schrauben aber zu bewältigen.Qualität soweit ganz gut. Einzig die Schrauben (nur phosphatiert und geölt) zeigen erste Korrosion. Da werden wohl kurz über lang andere Schrauben zum Einsatz kommen müssen.

Very bad experience. I bought a Protection Combo (Crash Bars and Skid Plate) for a Tiger Triumph 800 in 2019 and had one of the worst customer service I have ever experienced. The product were delivered almost 1 month later than expected (and what I paid for) and I got not reimbursement or support whatsoever from Outback Motorteck. Even worst, Outback Motortek tried consistently to blame me for the delayed where in the end it was proven that TNT was the problem. In one world: the product are indeed, good quality but I you find similar ones in another company I would recommend to skip Outback Motortek for the way the deal with their customers. NL

The skid plate itself is a quality piece and looks very nice on the bike. But the front mounting is not a masterpiece of engineering. The right braket fitting needs additional grinding in order not to hurt the engine casing of the Suzuki DL650 L4. Furthermore the right bolt that attaches the skid plate to the braket sits exactly unterneat the exhaust pipe. This one needs to be relocated. Please change this cause overall it is a good product. Overall a good experience. A slight setback with the shipping. Their system "completed" my order without shipping the product. I had to inquire about it and that's how they discovered the product did not get shipped. They did, however, refund the shipping costs to me for the inconvenience.A couple misprints on the installation instructions (mislabeled screws and bolts), but not a big deal. I figured it out.

These guys know there stuff and build quality products that stand up to real world use. I came across Outback Motortek when looking for a set of crash bars for my Triumph Tiger 800. I had seen a number of other products but reviews were mixed and there didn't seem to be an all in one solution for both engine and tank protection. OM had it and at a reasonable price. The fit was 99% spot on with only the radiator hose coming into contact with one of the bars (but that was easily mitigated). I can say that all the bolt holes had perfect alignment to the frame and engine mounts which was the critical part.So does it work? I have dropped this bike 5 times since installing the bars. Once in the driveway getting off the the thing, and four times off-roading the thing where my skill wasn't a match for the terrain. A few scuff marks on the bars (and bark Buster's) but no damages elsewhere.Highly recommend these! Buy with confidence.Stufer.

I bought the crash bars skid pan and center stand for my 2018 vstrom. I'm pretty impressed with the looks and quality of the products. Installation of the crash bars and skid pan was easy. However the center stand was not. When installed the pin holding the spring was hitting hard on the exhaust system. I contacted supplier and was told they would look into it. After a few weeks of back and forth conversations I realised they were not going to remedy this problem so I payed a local machine shop to rework the bracket. I contacted Outback and explained what was done in which they seemed relieved and said they would still warranty the part. So in all not bad products however I would be a reluctant to order the panniers I'm looking for now with fear of fit and company support.

I fitted Outback Motortek crash bars to my bike two weeks ago and so glad I did. Dropped it twice today in the snow and not a single bit of damage to the bodywork. Both drops were fairly heavy and to the same side but the bars held strong. A quality product.

When I was looking for Pannier Mounts they had to be tough & very strong as I use my DR650 daily on Mountain Roads with soft bags carrying tools for my job.
The Pannier mounts from Outback MotorTek definitely ticked the boxes a couple of months ago when I got them & had them fitted onto my DR650.
They fit neatly to the bike when not in use.
I have used them with hard panniers when traveling as well.
Highly recommend them they are excellent quality.

Customer service is good, equipment looks great. However, I had several fitment issues with the crash bars I purchased. Some bolt holes didn’t line up easily and others were not drilled large enough for bolts to pass through. I shouldn’t have to modify a product that is custom made for my model bike in order for it to fit up. Oh well, I’ll make them work. I must have gotten the “Friday afternoon” bars...

Great quality and finish, well built product. Had a nasty spill that caused the crash bars to bend and press against the body of the bike, the mounting bracket that bolts into the engine block bent and wrapped itself around the frame. Contacted company and owner shifted blame and told me I had not torqued the upper bar clamps to spec. After a few more exchanges he offered to TRY and get me free shipping if I decide to order again, from a company that already offered free shipping. Customer service needs some work.

Put complete crash bars and luggage racks on my 2020 Adrican Twin EC DCT. Fit is perfect and was able to install everything in a couple hours. Have since put about 12k miles on the bike and everything has worked flawlessly. Crash bars have save the bike a few times and were definitely were every dime!

Honda CB500x Bj2021Obere und untere SturzbügelSieht gut aus und fühlt sich für mich als „Anfänger“ qualitativ hochwertig an.Der Sturm hat mein bike umgepfegt. Die Bügel haben ihren Zweck erfüllt. Tank, Kupplungsfach, Motor bzw. der gesamte Corpus des Motorrads scheinen völlig unberührt und haben keinen Kratzer abbekommen. Es sind andere Dinger betroffen, welche jedoch nichts mit den Bügeln zu tun haben.Das was mich störte, was jedoch durch eine Mail Anfrage und SMS relativ schnell geklärt wurde , ist dass teilweise weiterhin die OEM Schrauben verwendet werden, was mich etwas verunsichert hat. Für mein Gewissen hätte ich mir etwas verlängerte Schrauben gewünscht um den fehlenden Platz durch die Bügel auszugleichen.Hier wurde mir sehr schnell durch Outback Motortek Deutschland aber auch direkt aus Kanada geholfen bzw. Als Laie wurde ich aufgeklärt.Eine Anleitung habe ich nicht bekommen jedoch wird alles im online Video ausführlich erklärt.Für beides würde ich aber keinen Stern abziehen: Ich betrachte es als mein Empfinden.Also der Service und die Kommunikation waren top. Die Qualität ist super und hat sich direkt beweisen können. Und sieht geil aus 😉

Great company with great, stout equipment. I purchased full crash bar system for my Africa Twin and it help up well on my BDR trip. I just recently purchased bars and skid plate for my Honda 300 L Rally and am looking forward to getting those put on. I highly recommend their equipment. My only issue I have is sometimes I have trouble contacting them when necessary but overall great experience.

I have installed and used Outback Motortek products on two motorcycles: a Yamaha Super Ténéré and a KTM 1090 Adventure R. I have pannier racks on both bikes, and upper crash bars on the KTM. The installation was always spot-on with no weird fitment issues at all. I have laid down the KTM twice, once on each side, once while stopped, and once at about 12mph, with no scratches or dings.at all on the bike or the crash bars.

I bought these racks for my '20 KTM Super Adventure S to mount my soft sided panniers. They are sturdy, ruggedly built and look great. I have not crash tested them as of yet, but I have no doubt they'll hold up.

Absolutely fantastic product! I hit a dog at 65 mph and the guards did their job. Saved my motor and took the blow of sliding on asphalt for 30 + yards. I recommend these products to anyone that rides hard off road on big bikes and wants their bike to be protected from hard hits.

I bought my 2018 Africa Twin Adventure Sports with the full crash bars and skid plate already installed. I'm impressed with how this setup is light but very strong! I added the Outback Motortek center stand and have been equally impressed. The install was easy and it fits as if it was part of the original equipment from Honda. Outback Motortek makes quality products!

I’ve purchased 2 sets of pannier racks, the 2nd were the X-frame for use with Kriega luggage. Welds, powder coat and included fasteners are all high quality and the Kriega stuff went right on with no need for extra strapping or anything. Very happy and hope to upgrade my GSA to Outback Motortek’s protection bars soon!

Ich habe mir bei Outback Motortek einen Sturzbügel für meine KTM 690 Enduro R 2016 bestellt und bin sehr zufrieden. Nicht nur das der Bügel wundervoll an der KTM aussieht und sie nicht unnötig breit wirken lässt, sondern der Service ist auch einmalig gut. Compré el combo de protección para la Africa Twin 1100.Estoy encantado con el producto, aporta robustez a la moto y estéticamente queda guapísimo, como dicen en las instrucciones hay que doblar el cubrecarter original, es la única pega que pongo, porque es una pena forzar una pieza original, quizá cambiando un poco la curva de la barra izquierda inferior esto no haría falta, pero por lo demás un 10.Y el servicio de atención al cliente, mejor imposible, comprado en twintrail, responden cualquier duda muy rápido, unos cracks!

I bought a Crash Bars for the KTM 690 enduro r 2020, the service was excellent and fast, the Crash Bars integrates very nicely with the motorcycle, it looks like the motorcycle came out of the factory that way. As for the effectiveness of the Crash Bars, to my delight I have not yet had a chance to test it, but it seems that it will definitely do the job if necessary.

In January 2021, I made two orders (#20008 and #20009) for my BMW F850GS (2021 model): pannier Racks and protection Combo (lower/upper protection bars and skid plate). Ordering process was very smooth, the order was delivered on time.I would like thank the entire Outback Motortek Team and Lorry Gombos in particular! In addition to producing top quality products, Lorry and his team have been very responsive and supporting.1. Initially I made two separate orders (on the same day). I then reached out to Outback Motortek Team asking them to pack both orders in a single shipment. They immediately confirmed it.2. Once I received the shipment, it turned out that the lower part of the crash bar was impossible to install on my 2021 model due to the fact that exhaust engine system has been modified (namely, new position of oxygen sensor in the models 2021 made the installation impossible). After some e-mail changes, Lorry sent me free of charge (not even a shipping cost) a replacement part (the lower left side crash bar which will worked well with the Euro 5 oxygen sensor). And this is despite the fact that it was my mistake when ordering (when I placed the order it was clearly marked the 2018-2020 compatibility only).Thank you, Lorry and thank you Outback Motortek for your super client oriented approach and for making great products!I definitely recommend Outback Motortek!

Buenos acabados y para mi de las mejores del mercado por la idea de donde se anclan al chasis y motor.Se montan (sin experiencia) en lo que te tomas una cerveza.Solo le veo una mejora, faltan arandelas de apriete en los tornillos, las cabezas de tornillos contra metal, pueden llegar a gripar, por ello siempre se ponen arandelas, mas base de apriete , no quiere decir mas apriete del necesario.

Mix up got me the wrong color but they overnighted the correct crash bars. Very nice design. Had to bend 1 tab a small amount to make it fit but overall very impressed. I am confident in these bars to protect my new tenere 700 with all the stupidity i have planned.

Después de adquirir set completo de protección para África twin < barras y cubrecarter>, más de 800 euros aún sigo sin recibir el cubrecarter.....llevo dos meses esperando cuando el tiempo estimado eran 10 días, una falta de profesionalismo y responsabilidad ante el cliente,La rubustez que publicitan en la web no corresponde con la realidad, en la primera caída de la moto las barras inferiores se han doblado y abollado, muy mala calidad.

Nice rack. Easy to fix on the bike.But: the left side is between 1 and 2 cm lower than the right side (it's particulary visible when panniers are on the bike). I had to grind the front bar otherwise the alu pannier couldn't fit really good (i would not recommend those racks for alu panniers)

El montaje de las defensas ha sido sencillo y rápido. Sólo he tenido que seguir el vídeo que tienen disponible en Youtube, solo hay que tener un poco de maña y paciencia. La calidad de las defensas es insuperable, tubos de buen diámetro y muy buenas terminaciones, tienen pinta de aguantar de todo y a la Africa twin 1100 le sientan como un guante.

Ordered a set of crash bars and was very disappointed. The arrived damaged, bolt holes didn't line up and hardware was missing. To the companies credit they did offer a refund on the product but only after questioning my integrity and refusing to admit any fault. They also told me that I should expect to have to make modifications to the product for install. Not when it's custom for a bike and cost me $400! Had to take a metal file and a dead blow hammer to them before having them refinished. I like the bars but not for all that effort. Seems they have a QC issue as others have reported. They also delete negative feedback on their website so be aware of that.

I looked at several crash bar options for my 2018 Tiger 800. The Outback Motortek bars are the strongest primarily because of the heavy gauge of the materials and the way they integrate into the bike frame. Would recommend them.

Excellent, quick service. I had questions and was quickly answered by the owner of the company. Fit was good. I would have preferred to have had detailed written installation instructions come with the product but I guess I am old school. The video was helpful. I would purchase again without any hesitation so I guess that is the best recommendation I could personally give. The white bag mounts look great on my 2018 Adventure Sport Africa Twin in red, white and blue.

I purchased the standard pannier racks for my 2019 BMW R1250GS after extensive research. At first I was just going to order the BMW ones, however they were just too expensive (almost $900) to justify. I am more than happy with the quality of the Outback Motortek ones, and they look amazing on the bike. The installation video was really helpful, I just followed along with it playing on my iPad and had no issues with the install. I will be ordering the Mosko Moto bags next, and I was happy to see that Outback Motortek is now the official preferred rack for them...very cool! I highly recommend.

Lorry is a pleasure to deal with. The quality of the work is high (design/welds/finish) The reason I give only 3 stars is that I purchased a X Frame Panniers for CRF250RALLY which should be compatible with Kriega OS32 directly without adaptors (you pay around 20-25% extra for this) and they didnt fit. The opening on the tabs was not big enough and the distance between the 2 tab openings is a bit too narrow compared to the Kriega bags. Lorry assured the width is ok to work with and offered me to send a replacement because of tab opening. At this point I didnt want to risk getting a second set and not like it coz of the width between the tabs so I just returned them. It is a pity. The rack is the most expensive on the market for this bike especially without a top rack. The 2nd most expensive rack on the market comes with a top rack and costs less. You would expect it to be spot on for the money. I m still a fan of outback motortek from what I see online with what they are doing though from my personal experience am a bit bitter now.

After completing quite an exstensive amount of research on crash bars, skid plates, and engine protectors for my 2018 Honda Africa Twin standard model I finally decided on Outback Motortek. I ordered the set of engine guard, crash bar, skip plate combo that was at a discounted package rate. I received the package within about a week or so. I watched the install video on YouTube, read the included instructions, then started the installation. It was fairly simple, but some of the required wrenches didn’t match up with the bolts supplied. I got worried at first but after contacting Mark at OM in Virginia he said that sometimes they change bolts and nuts without updating the paper instructions( too much wasted paper). Anyway, I completed the install, loved the look, feel, and sturdiness of the whole kit. I’ve ridden about 1000 miles so far and haven’t had to tighten it or adjust anything. Very happy with the customer service, the idea of small Business, and the construction and fit of the product. I’m a true fan now, and loyal customer.

Sehr schnelle Lieferung und relativ schnelle Montage der Schutzbügel. Auf einer Seite gab es leichte Spannungen aufgrund des Verzuges durch das Schweißen. War durch lockeres Vormontieren aller Schrauben aber zu bewältigen.Qualität soweit ganz gut. Einzig die Schrauben (nur phosphatiert und geölt) zeigen erste Korrosion. Da werden wohl kurz über lang andere Schrauben zum Einsatz kommen müssen.

Die Sturzbügel für die Africa Twin sind einfach klasse. Äußerst stabil und sehen super aus. Montage ist an sich einfach, die Montageanleitung verwirrt allerdings gelegentlich.

The skid plate itself is a quality piece and looks very nice on the bike. But the front mounting is not a masterpiece of engineering. The right braket fitting needs additional grinding in order not to hurt the engine casing of the Suzuki DL650 L4. Furthermore the right bolt that attaches the skid plate to the braket sits exactly unterneat the exhaust pipe. This one needs to be relocated. Please change this cause overall it is a good product. Overall a good experience. A slight setback with the shipping. Their system "completed" my order without shipping the product. I had to inquire about it and that's how they discovered the product did not get shipped. They did, however, refund the shipping costs to me for the inconvenience.A couple misprints on the installation instructions (mislabeled screws and bolts), but not a big deal. I figured it out.

These guys know there stuff and build quality products that stand up to real world use. I came across Outback Motortek when looking for a set of crash bars for my Triumph Tiger 800. I had seen a number of other products but reviews were mixed and there didn't seem to be an all in one solution for both engine and tank protection. OM had it and at a reasonable price. The fit was 99% spot on with only the radiator hose coming into contact with one of the bars (but that was easily mitigated). I can say that all the bolt holes had perfect alignment to the frame and engine mounts which was the critical part.So does it work? I have dropped this bike 5 times since installing the bars. Once in the driveway getting off the the thing, and four times off-roading the thing where my skill wasn't a match for the terrain. A few scuff marks on the bars (and bark Buster's) but no damages elsewhere.Highly recommend these! Buy with confidence.Stufer.

I bought the crash bars skid pan and center stand for my 2018 vstrom. I'm pretty impressed with the looks and quality of the products. Installation of the crash bars and skid pan was easy. However the center stand was not. When installed the pin holding the spring was hitting hard on the exhaust system. I contacted supplier and was told they would look into it. After a few weeks of back and forth conversations I realised they were not going to remedy this problem so I payed a local machine shop to rework the bracket. I contacted Outback and explained what was done in which they seemed relieved and said they would still warranty the part. So in all not bad products however I would be a reluctant to order the panniers I'm looking for now with fear of fit and company support.

one of them being upper crash bars from Outback MT but like everything else there have been some long delays waiting for them to arrive. through out the last 5 weeks I have been able to communicate with Mark,without delays Mark has always responded to my inquiries about my order with an honest answer approach. good or bad communication is the key to keeping and growing a client base.

Quick update. With help of the owner, I was able to successfully install new panner racks, crash bars, and skid plate. I had a little trouble with the installation videos but Outback Motortek responded quickly and was very friendly.
I am very impressed by the quality of the products and how they did great job including everything I needed for the installation.

I got full protection combo from OM on both my Ténéré 700 and Africa Twin 1100 and they are crash tested and made an amazing job honestly. Keep up the good job for your customers guys, you are the best !

If you are looking for protection for your motorcycle there is no better choice. Amazingly build, with colour options, and in my case,fully tested and trusted.
I also recommend the panniers rack system with the x-frame where to mount a toolbox or a rotopax system, so you can use mount your panniers and bring everything you need for a big trip.

Using Outback Motprtek crashbars and racks on several of our KTM's and also on the Yamaha T7 ... I am absolutely happy and pleased with their stuff ... can strongly recomend it 😉

I bought a Crash Bars for the KTM 690 enduro r 2020, the service was excellent and fast, the Crash Bars integrates very nicely with the motorcycle, it looks like the motorcycle came out of the factory that way. As for the effectiveness of the Crash Bars, to my delight I have not yet had a chance to test it, but it seems that it will definitely do the job if necessary.

Build crash bars and bash plates that actually work, and take care of the customers that have you products. When you are products do not perform as advertised and break on very small tip over you should offer to replace or even offer a discount, but telling them to go pound sand is maybe not the best option.

I have to leave a guarded response/review for these. I bought a full set of Tenere 700 crash bars, and those were delivered very quickly and seem to be of a decent quality; I'm prepared to trade a little more weight for functionality. HOWEVER: the installation video, which I watched a few times (and for reference I'm a qualified mechanical engineer) simply don't match the items I received. There are a number of differences, most notably in the clamps I received, which not only don't match the video (they are all the same size), but are also completely different. They have a cast, but not immediately obvious, retainer for the nut side, which is fine on the one hand but also flies in the face of the instruction video which says you can fit the nut and bolt whichever way round you want to. Lastly, I was missing a number of washers, but also had several other bolts and washers in different sizes. These were in the sealed bags. Agree with other comments that the nuts and bolts do not seem to be very high quality. I'll probably replace them as I'm far from sure that they'll be easy to remove if necessary. One more point: it's not possible to get a socket and then an extension/torque wrench onto the two main engine bolts after the bars are in place and I'm not quite sure how you are supposed to tighten to the correct torque with a ring or OE spanner! I could to an extent cope with all of the above, although it's very disappointing at this price point, but what has really prompted me to leave this review is that I called to speak to someone about it, left a voicemail as nobody answered, and my call was never returned. To balance that, I'll note that this was between Xmas and New Year, but still I would have expected a response at some point, even after NY. Customer Service distinctly lacking. EDIT April 2021: I have just been told that this post was not publicly visible so I have attempted to alter that. I don't know why a review would not have been visible when posted.

Perfect fit and quick installation on my BMW F750GS. Just followed the video. Great customer service. I had a question late at night planning the installation, posted to the web site and had an answer from the owner the next morning. Also posted the same question on a chat with US distributor and they responded next morning. I got lucky on delivery, 10 days instead of 6 weeks as posted. These bars are really sturdy. Tipped over on concrete. They fully supported the bike and not a scratch on them.

Ordered crash bars and a skid plate combo over a month and a half ago for my T7. Website said items were in stock. I waited 3 weeks before trying to contact customer service (practically impossible, never got to speak with anyone over the phone). Finally got an email saying parts were out of stock and it would be at least 2 more weeks. Waited 2 more weeks, no updates. Sent an email asking when parts would arrive and if they were still weeks out, I wanted a refund. Got a refund the next day with no explanation as to when parts would be in, just a note saying “customer couldn’t wait for parts”. Terrible, terrible, terrible customer service! Just ordered some Tourtech crash bars and they’re already on their way. Never again OM!

Fit and finish are very lacking. they may be tough but 6 hours to install crash bars is ridiculous and I'm not some paper jockey. I have never had a vehicle in the shop or paid someone to do my wrenching.

Very bad experience. I bought a Protection Combo (Crash Bars and Skid Plate) for a Tiger Triumph 800 in 2019 and had one of the worst customer service I have ever experienced. The product were delivered almost 1 month later than expected (and what I paid for) and I got not reimbursement or support whatsoever from Outback Motorteck. Even worst, Outback Motortek tried consistently to blame me for the delayed where in the end it was proven that TNT was the problem. In one world: the product are indeed, good quality but I you find similar ones in another company I would recommend to skip Outback Motortek for the way the deal with their customers. NL

Glad to have chosen Outback Motortek for the engine bars for my Africa Twin. Fitting was straight forward enough and the final product is awesome. Love the quality and they feel that they would offer huge protection in a tip over. Hopefully I never find out.

Very good quality and easy to fit. A very nice option to choose white or black coloured racks. I really recommend these racks. No need to look any further at more expensive alternatives.

I fitted Outback Motortek crash bars to my bike two weeks ago and so glad I did. Dropped it twice today in the snow and not a single bit of damage to the bodywork. Both drops were fairly heavy and to the same side but the bars held strong. A quality product.

When I was looking for Pannier Mounts they had to be tough & very strong as I use my DR650 daily on Mountain Roads with soft bags carrying tools for my job.
The Pannier mounts from Outback MotorTek definitely ticked the boxes a couple of months ago when I got them & had them fitted onto my DR650.
They fit neatly to the bike when not in use.
I have used them with hard panniers when traveling as well.
Highly recommend them they are excellent quality.

Outback Motortek crash bars and skid plates are so stout and... deliberate. Deliberate is the best word I can come up with when describing their product. The stuff is designed to be tough and it just is.

Customer service is good, equipment looks great. However, I had several fitment issues with the crash bars I purchased. Some bolt holes didn’t line up easily and others were not drilled large enough for bolts to pass through. I shouldn’t have to modify a product that is custom made for my model bike in order for it to fit up. Oh well, I’ll make them work. I must have gotten the “Friday afternoon” bars...
